This is the script for a comedic short I wrote over the weekend called Beer Fort. It’s about a fort, a fort full of beer. I finished the final(?) draft and edited it late last night, while you were all dreaming your dreams and sleeping your sleeps.
Anyway, Beer Fort is only three pages long, I will most likely be the only person in it, and I will probably end up filming and editing the damn thing myself. So why did I bother printing and binding it? Why did I even bother formatting it properly or even making a title page? Because there are few things in life that feel as good as finishing something, being able to feel and hold it and rub it with your hands and various other body parts. For me, at least.
Now I’m going down to the grocery store to buy two bottles of pineapple juice, my champagne. One to celebrate Beer Fort and, of course, one to celebrate Claudia, my Internet sister*, giving birth to her beautiful baby boy.
Congratulations, Claudia and Ken!
*Does this make me an Internet uncle?

Wook at my adorable baby Cthulhu keychain. I said wook at it, God dammit!
Claudia, my Internet sister and all-around awesome person, made it. You can check out her Etsy store right… HERE!!! If you want a baby Cthulhu of your own, she’s the one to ask and that’s the place to go.

PRESENTS!!!
These are some Christmas cards I’ve received from some of you Tumbletopians and a very special, awesome hat my Internet sister made for me! I also received the gift of music! And while I can’t really show that in this picture, rest assured that I’ll post a lot of songs in the new year.
Thank you, brokenlifeblog, cloudya, girl11eleven, and lafix!
And you’re wrong, Claudia. It may help keep me warm, but you’re present is much cooler. Thank you so much.
Check out Cloudya’s Etsy shop right… HERE!!!

Things I have shown off today:
1) My super manly iPod pouch. It was hand-made by my Internet sister and all-around awesome person, Claudia. She’s been making a lot of lovely scarfs too, and it’s that time of the year, isn’t it, Tumbletopians? Scarf season! If you want one, check out her Etsy page here.
2) The two ticket stubs I’ve collected so far from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. I might be a tad biased, but it really is super good. It’s one of the best book to movie adaptations in the series.
The actors have grown quite a bit too, and Emma Watson’s performance is particularly good. Hermoine, Bellatrix, and Dobby all steal their share of scenes.
I’m also very happy with the soundtrack, as usual.
3) Moving on(!), I scored a free extra roast beef sandwich. The cashier said she liked my Gryffindor shirt. We wizards have to stick together in your Muggle world, you know. She probably also liked my just-got-out-of-bed hair, which, as always, I achieved by not combing my hair.
Fashion is so easy.

This is my new best friend. I call him Treadmill. Super creative, I know. I assembled him about two weeks ago and have been jogging every other day since. Seeing as how it’s the first plan I’ve followed through with in a year or so, I’m feeling pretty good about it.
I’ve wanted to run a marathon for as long as I can remember, which is about two months. And with Treadmill’s help, I just might pull it off.
Thanks for the running advice, Cloudya and AshamedToSay. I will repay your kindness by striking down those foolish enough to oppose you. Or buy your families dinner if I’m ever in your respective towns. Either way is fine.
Also pictured: The number of messages I have to go through. Most of those are private messages that I can never bring myself to delete for various reasons, but I’m sure there are some questions and messages in there that I’ve missed or have been meaning to answer. Sorry ‘bout that, Tumbletopians. I’ve been in a weird head-space lately. Lazy, too.

I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year, depending on how I’ve behaved in the months prior. This year I’m feeling pretty down because I haven’t really accomplished anything so far, which was not the plan. I was supposed to be in Cincinnati right now finishing up a pilot script. Instead, I’m back in Jacksonville with writers block.
Time to move on and make a new plan.
I just spent $400 on a new treadmill, which I am very excited about because not only do treadmills of this quality usually cost at least $700, but because I can actually start running again despite the heat and non-stop raining. I also bought a new workout bench the other week. SKA-DOOSH!!!
I’m still in a bit of a creative funk, which is why I don’t post much lately, but I’m working through it. I’ve already started rewrites on a few scenes that needed a lot of work. I’ve also gotten some much needed inspiration from my Internet sister, Claudia, and some appreciated advice from Caprice Crane. Time to get busy. I also have a new project that I’m excited about. Still working out the details, though.
Anyway, time to get my ass home. I’ve got a treadmill to assemble.
And wrestling to watch.
Shut up, I like it.

This is a jingle I wrote for spaghetti. Not really for any specific spaghetti company, but just spaghetti in general. I also out Bananacasts as the majority share holder of Chiquita, Cloudya as the president of ketchup, and BtotheD as the inventor of Budweiser.
Spaghetti: Because sometimes regular food is too easy.
I’m gonna be rich, you guys! Drinks are on me! Actually, drinks are on Bruce, inventor of Budweiser. A fine brew.
Also, friggin’ Tumblr cut me off again. What a dick.
