I have my work cut out for me in 2011. A lot of you have posted your resolutions and I figured I’d share some of mine.
I want to finish writing my current project and see if I can get the damn show made. I don’t want to sell it unless I know it’ll actually be bought, casted, filmed, and all that good stuff. I’d rather go the independent route and make it myself than option the thing out and possibly have it never see the light of day, even if optioning it could bring some much needed cash.
I want to start work on a documentary with a friend, which should be very interesting because I’ve never made one. I seriously have no idea how to go about doing this, but it’s on a very personal subject and it just feels right making it. I happen to know that the subject would interest a few of you, so don’t be surprised if you see me popping into your ask-boxes in the coming months to ask a bunch of overly personal questions that may or may not freak you out.
I want to be able to run a marathon by the end of the year. I’ve got a really long way to go on this one. Considering my knee problems, I can’t help but think a smarter person would nix this idea. Luckily, for my New Years resolutions at least, I’m a complete idiot.
I want to finally move out of the dump that I live in. If you saw the place, you’d understand why this is so important. The problem is that apartments in Jax are much more expensive than you’d think. There’s one place I can afford, but the people around here affectionately refer to it as “the murder apartments.” I can get stabbed in the face for free. Why would I pay $400 a month for it?
So far so good with me. How about you guys? Sticking to your resolutions so far?
